I'm praying for the Holy Spirit's annointing that this message will not go unheeded and fall upon deaf ears. I pray in Jesus' Holy Name this message will touch someone's heart and life. Amen
This is called the Roman's Road.
In just one minute I can explain to you how you can know for sure that if you died today you would go to Heaven.
The Book of Romans in the New Testament , God's plan of Salvation is spelled out perhaps clearer than anywhere else in the Bible. The Book of Romans explains the natural condition of man in relation to God.
Romans 3:10 As it is written , There is none righteous , no , not one:
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned , and come short of the glory of God;
Just one sin will separate us from a Holy God forever! That's all it takes so if you've ever committed a sin then you deserving of the wrath of God. God would not be holy if he tolerated or turned His head to sin. But God made a way to reconcile lost man back into the fold.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death ; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Bible details God's provision for our salvation in the person of Jesus Christ by His death on the cross.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
From the very moment that Adam sinned against God ; this separated God from His Creation , thus every man since that day has lived under the curse and has been in need of a Saviour.
Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
But God did not leave us in the dark concerning this matter!a In His preserved Word , God explains what we must do to receive the free gift of salvation:
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Throughout the entire Bible, there is complete accord on the matter of our salvation. The only way provided by God is by faith and trust in His Son , Jesus Christ , who paid the penalty for the sins of all people by His death on the cross.
The Bible tells us there is nothing we can do of ourselves that is sufficient to get us into Heaven:
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Ephesians 2:8-9 8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Do not let another day go by without having the eternal security which is only obtainable through faith in The Lord Jesus Christ. Remember ; there is NO guarantee of tomorrow , so get it settled now.
You can receive Jesus Christ as your Saviour right now in front of your computer. If you recognize your need for Him as the only provision God made for your entrance into Heaven , simply pray something as this simple prayer right where you are but talk to God personally ; like your best friend.
"Dear Lord , I know that I am a sinner, and that I deserve to pay the penalty for my sins. I've changed my mind about you Father and now I believe that You sent your Son , the Lord Jesus Christ , to pay the penalty for my sins through His death on that cruel cross of Calvary. Now I'm inviting Jesus Christ into my heart to be my Lord and Saviour. I pray all of this in His precious name ; Amen."
If you prayed this to God ; the next step is to find a Bible believing Church where your walk with the Lord will continue to grow and you'll be able to share what you now have with others.

We serve an almighty God, and He wants to reveal Himself to us! One way that we can know more about Him is through His names. We are familiar with calling Him God, Lord, and Father. Some are familiar with His primary names...Jehovah and Yahweh; however, God is called by many names throughout scripture!
Many of them can't be read unless you know Hebrew; they are translated as Lord, God, etc. However, a few of them are readable because they've been translated for us.
Knowing these different names should give us hope and encouragement because they attest to who God is, and they testify to God's attributes.
First, we have God known as...
I AM THAT I AM and I AM
Have you ever wondered what that means? I believe that one name encapsulates all that God is! It's His attributes all in one name...He is self-existent, all-powerful, all-knowing, all-encompassing, and unchangeable! HE IS because...well...HE IS!!! He is GOD!!!
Now, let's look at God's primary names...
- Jehovah and Yahweh - means "The Self-Existent One"
Jehovah is translated as LORD (all capital letters) in the King James.
- Elohim - means "One who is Mighty, The LORD who Creates"
This is the plural name for God (which indicates the Trinity) as seen in Genesis 1:1... In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
- Adonai - means "The LORD our Master, the One who is Ruling"
This name is translated as Lord (capital L, lowercase "o-r-d") as seen in Genesis 15:2... And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?
So, from God's primary names, we learn of His power, self-existence, authority, and we also see that God is plural...the Trinity!
Now, let's look at the compound names of God. These names are two words - using either the "El" from Elohim, or the compound name will include Jehovah with it. The names that start with "El" are translated as "God", and the names which use "Jehovah" are translated as LORD. There are a few of the compound names that are actually spelled out in the Bible. These names give us even more insight into who God is.
- El Elyon - means "The One who is Supreme; The Lord who Owns"
Genesis 14:22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,
- El Shaddai - means "The all-sufficient One"
Genesis 17:1-2 1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
- El Olam - means "The Lord who is Everlasting; The One who is Mysterious"
Genesis 21:33 And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.
- Jehovah Jireh - means "The LORD who Provides"
Genesis 22:8 and 13-14 8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen.
- Jehovah Rapha - means "The LORD who Heals"
Exodus 15:23-25 23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. 24 And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? 25 And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,
- Jehovah Nissi - means "The LORD our Banner"
Exodus 17:15-16 15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi: 16 For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
- Jehovah Shalom - means "The LORD of Peace"
Judges 6:23-24 23 And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die. 24 Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovahshalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.
- Jehovah Sabaoth - means "The LORD of Hosts"
I Samuel 1:3 And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.
- Jehovah Elyon - means "The LORD who Blesses"
Psalm 7:17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
- Jehovah Raah - means "The LORD our Shepherd"
Psalm 23:1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
- Jehovah Tsidkenu - means "The LORD our Righteousness"
Jeremiah 23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
- Jehovah Shammah - means "The LORD who is close by; The One who is Present"
Ezekiel 48:35 It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.
Each name gives us more knowledge of the great God that we serve! So, as we learn these wonderful names of God, we should be comforted and built up in our faith. After all, as His names tell us, He is...supreme and our all-sufficiency. He reveals Himself to us and provides for us. He heals and He's our banner. He provides peace, blesses us, shepherds us, provides our righteousness, and praise His name...He is always close by!
